Scale
Scale describes the ratio between the size of your file and the finished banner. You may supply print data at two scales:
1:1 – the file is exactly as large as the finished banner (a 3 × 2 m banner is also 300 × 200 cm in the file). This is the simplest and safest option.
1:10 – the file is reduced to one tenth (300 × 200 cm becomes 30 × 20 cm). Important: the resolution must then be ten times as high. From around 508 cm edge length, 1:10 is often unavoidable, because many programs cannot create or output larger documents.
