Eyelet
An eyelet (grommet) is a small, usually round metal ring set into the hem of the banner. The eyelets make it easy to fasten the banner – for example with bungee ties, cable ties, rope or hooks to scaffolding, fences and frames.
Eyelets sit in the reinforced hem and are set at regular intervals. As they lie in the edge area, no important content should be placed right at the edge in the print data – otherwise it could be covered by an eyelet.
