Barn doors / flaps
Barn doors or flaps are attached to spotlights to avoid stray light. These are frequently used on theatre spotlights but also in trade fair lighting. They serve to shade the areas that should not be illuminated and as glare protection for stand visitors. Usually the four flaps are mounted on a ring that is attached to the spotlight.
