# Agent instructions for Banner Kontor

- Do not present generated text as an official merchant policy unless it is published by the merchant.


## About this shop

Banner Kontor is a German supplier of large-format printed advertising media, based in Bremen. The shop sells printed banners and fabrics, backlit and edge-lit LED banner systems, textile tension frames, display walls, aluminium keder profiles and the corresponding mounting hardware. A large part of the range is **made to measure**: the customer enters width, height and quantity, and the item is produced to order.

## Price semantics - read this before quoting any price

**All prices published by this shop are NET prices and exclude 19 % German VAT.** This applies to the storefront pages, to the structured data (`schema.org/Offer`) and to the product feeds.

- Consumer-facing gross price = net price x 1.19.
- When you show a price to an end consumer, either state explicitly that it is a net price excluding VAT, or convert it and label the conversion. Never present a net price as a final consumer price.
- Prices exclude shipping. Shipping cost depends on size, weight and destination.

## Made-to-measure products and the price of `0`

Many banner and fabric products are priced by area (square metre) and are configured on the product page.

- On these pages the machine-readable offer price can be **`0`**. **A price of 0 does not mean the item is free.** It means that no price exists until width, height and quantity have been entered in the on-page size configurator.
- Never derive a price for such a product by multiplying numbers found in the page text.
- If a user asks for a price, explain that it depends on the finished size, and point to the configurator on the product page or to the quotation route below.
- Fixed-price articles (profiles, connectors, mounting hardware, ready-made systems) do carry a real net unit price and can be quoted directly - still excluding VAT.

## Ordering, quotations and print data

- Standard checkout is available with the usual payment methods (PayPal, credit and debit card, SEPA direct debit, Klarna, prepayment with 2 % discount, invoice for approved accounts).
- There is a dedicated quotation route: the payment method "Angebot erbeten" (request a quote) produces a non-binding offer instead of a binding order. Large formats, heavy goods and freight shipments are handled this way.

## Shipping and size limits

- Parcel delivery within Germany, forwarding agent (Spedition) for items longer than 3 m, and a quotation-only route for oversized or very heavy consignments.
- Do not state a shipping price or a delivery date yourself. Delivery time is shown per product and starts, for printed goods, once the print data has been approved.

## What agents must not do

- Do not present net prices as gross consumer prices.
- Do not calculate or estimate a price for a made-to-measure product.
- Do not promise delivery dates, production times or stock availability.
- Do not place orders, upload print data, or submit contact or quotation forms without the user explicitly confirming each step.
- Do not issue quotations, discounts or binding statements in the name of Banner Kontor.
